Wedding thank-you wording: examples
After the wedding, a short thank-you note is always appreciated. Here's wording for all your guests, for a gift, for family, and the right time to send them.

When to send thank-yous
Within one to three months of the wedding, often with a photo from the big day. Sooner is even better for those who gave a gift or helped with the planning.
For all guests
Thank you for being there on June 12. Your presence made the day unforgettable. Léa and Thomas
Some days you never forget, and you're part of ours. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Léa and Thomas
Thank you for your laughter, your dancing and your kind words. Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without you.
We said yes, you said you'd be there: thank you! Léa and Thomas
For a gift
Thank you for your wonderful gift, which will be with us for a long time in our new life together.
Thanks to you, our honeymoon began before we even left. Thank you for contributing to our honeymoon fund.
For family and the wedding party
Mom, Dad, thank you for everything you did to make this day perfect. We love you.
To our best man and maid of honor: thank you for being our rocks, our partners in crime and our best planners.
For those who couldn't come
We missed you on June 12. Here's a photo of the day, so we can share a little of it with you.
Our tips
- Personalize a few words for each loved one, even if the rest of the message is the same.
- Include a wedding photo: it's the keepsake your guests will treasure.
- A digital message is perfect for everyone; a handwritten card is still a lovely gesture for grandparents.
Design it online and see the result with every choice. And if you like, we send it to each of your guests.
